CLUB / POOL RULES

  1. Each member of your family MUST have a picture on file in your account on the Swim Club website.
  2. Members under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult 16 years of age or older.
  3. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the behavior and safety of their child(ren) and any guests brought in under their membership at all times. Frequently check on children when they are in a pool or on the grounds.  Please talk to your children and guests about proper behavior, especially in the bathrooms, and keeping the Club clean for everyone.
  4. NO GLASS (to include crockery) shall be permitted within the pool fence area.
  5. Any person suspected of being under the influence of drugs shall be prohibited from entering the pool.
  6. Please ensure to police your area of trash prior to leaving the Club.
  7. All animals, with the exception of service dogs shall be prohibited within the pool grounds.
  8. The Club/Management is not responsible for any valuables that are brought into the Club.
  9. The Club/Management is not responsible for any vehicles (including their contents) in the parking lot.
  10. The speed limit in the parking lot is 10 miles per hour.
  11. Parking is only permitted in designated areas.
  12. The use of lacrosse sticks, lacrosse balls, aluminum/wooden bats, baseballs, or other hardball hitting/throwing equipment, is prohibited from being used on the pool grounds.
  13. The Club is a smoke-free facility – no smoking or vaping will be permitted on FGSC property including the parking lot.
  14. No one is allowed in the water unless a Lifeguard is present.
  15. If a child requires the use of a life-saving device (life jacket, etc.) they must be accompanied by an adult within arm’s reach at all times while in the pool. Life-saving devices and/or other flotation devices must be approved by Management.
  16. Children who are not potty trained must wear swim diapers in the main and kiddie pools.
  17. The kiddie pool is exclusively for children 6 years and under.
  18. Lap swimming is available during non-peak times upon request and with Management approval.
  19. No eating or drinking in the pools. No eating or drinking within 3 1/2 feet of poolside. This is a Harford County Health Department requirement.
  20. Diving is only permitted in the diving well of the pool.
  21. No boisterous or rough play is permitted on the pool grounds.
  22. No running on the pool deck or in the bathrooms.
  23. All swimmers must remove any sand, dirt, grass, mulch, etc. from their bodies before entering the pool (showers are available).
  24. All persons having or reasonably suspected to have any considerable area of exposed sub-epidermal tissue, cuts or known or recognizable contagious or communicable diseases, cough, cold, open sores, blisters, bandaged wound(s), fever, inflammation of the eyes, and/or nasal or ear discharges, shall not be allowed to enter the pool water.
  25. Spitting, urinating, blowing of the nose, spouting of water or depositing foreign matter in the pool is strictly prohibited.
  26. Use of pool is strictly prohibited during an electrical storm (if electrical storm becomes bad enough, Management has the right to require everyone to leave the pool facility until the storm has passed). If the Harford County Emergency Manager calls to report severe weather, all pool activities will be suspended and the pool will close for the duration of the alert.
  27. Management/Lifeguards reserve the right to remove any toys and squirting devices (e.g., super soakers) from the pool area for actions that are deemed inappropriate/unsafe or if they are not being used in the best interest of the Members/guests of FGSC.
  28. Ball Playing in the Pool – only water balls made from soft cloth are permitted in the pool. Management/Lifeguards reserve the right to remove water balls from the pool area for actions that are deemed inappropriate/unsafe or if they are not being used in the best interest of the Members/guests of FGSC.
  29. No DJs, or karaoke machines without prior Management approval. Other music, including Bluetooth speakers, permitted at Management discretion.
  30. White lounge chairs must remain in the kiddie pool area and on deck around the fence.
  31. Intentional damage to Club equipment by a Member or guest of a Member will result in an assessment of the Member’s account.
  32. In keeping with the bylaws of the Club, Management reserves the right to revoke admission privileges or remove any Member or guest for violation of any of these rules.

DIVING WELL RULES 

  1. One person at a time on the diving board(s).
  2. Must be able to swim UNASSISTED to the ladder to go off the diving board.
  3. No diving unless the swimmer in front of you is on the ladder or out of the pool.
  4. No going off the diving board backwards.
  5. No one weighing over 250 pounds may use the diving board due to the manufacturer’s safety restrictions.
  6. A diver shall take only one bounce and go straight off the end of the board.
  7. Parents are not allowed to catch their children in the diving well.
  8. Goggles and/or swim masks of any kind are NOT permitted to be worn on the diving board(s).
  9. FGSC staff reserves the right to modify/adopt diving well rules at any time.

MULTI-SPORT COURT RULES

  1. The courts are designed to be used for Tennis, Pickleball, Whiffle/Kickball, 4 Square, Wall Ball activities and Futsal/Soccer.
  2. Please be courteous to other Members and share court time.
  3. Please do not damage equipment (i.e. no sitting on nets or other activity that will cause damage to the courts). Intentional damage to Club equipment by a Member or guest of a Member will result in an assessment of the Member’s account.
  4. Please CLEAN UP any items brought with you and do not LITTER the courts.

GUEST PASS POLICY

  1. Members 12 years of age and younger are allowed to be accompanied at the pool with a guest that is at least 16 years old.
  2. Members that are 13 years old and older are allowed to bring guests that are 13 years of age and older.
  3. Guest must be accompanied by a member. Guests are not allowed at the facility if the member is not present.
  4. The member is responsible for the conduct of their guests and will be held responsible for the guest’s actions.
  5. All guests are required to use a guest pass and follow the pool rules and policies. 
  6. Members wishing to bring in more than 10 non-member guests will be required to rent a pavilion.
